The Hatch
Here's a three-minute clip of an Albino Quaker Parrot hatching from her egg. The hatch actually took about 50 minutes. It is truly amazing how hard the chicks work to free themselves from the egg.
The pink eye area told us that this chick was either albino or lutino. Also, we know she's a girl because lutino and albino Quaker Parrot mutations are sex-linked. Once she began to dry, we could also see that she was white, not yellow.
