Quazy4Quakers guarantees the health of our birds. The Buyer has 72 hours after the receipt of the bird(s) to have them examined by an Avian veterinarian. The charges are the responsibility of the buyer. If, during this 72 hour period, the bird is found to have a condition which affects their health as determined by the examining Avian veterinarian, the buyer will submit verification of this condition to Quazy for Quakers and we will either refund the monies paid for the birds (excluding shipping), or supply the buyer with another bird of the same species, age and sex (if DNA’d). Shipping fees are paid by the buyer and are not refundable by Quazy for Quakers. If the bird is not taken to a certified Avian vet within 72 hours of receipt, the guarantee is null and void. We do not warranty the bird against neglect, accidents, or human error.
We ship our birds via Continental and Delta Airlines.
Continental's PetSafe program will allow pets that previously traveled as checked baggage to experience these safeguards when they travel as cargo, keeping them safe and their owners reassured:
* Dedicated 24-hour Live Animal Desk (800.575.3335 or 832.235.1541)
* Confirmed booking prior to departure
* Weather conditions constantly monitored at all points
* The ability to track and trace the animal from its origin to its destination
* Personal handling in climate-controlled vehicles for connections over Continental's hubs when the animal will be exposed to temperatures above 85°F (29.5°C) degrees for more than 45 minutes
We also use Delta's Pet First program. Once your bird is paid for in full and payment has cleared, we will arrange for shipment to your nearest major airport. We will do our best to work around your schedule. Weekend shipments can be arranged if necessary. Once the reservations have been made, you will be provided with the flight times, numbers and an air waybill number. You will need this number as well as your photo ID to pick up your bird at the airport. Please note that we cannot always ship immediately due to schedule constrictions or the weather. We will do our best to accommodate all schedules involved, but safe travel conditions and acceptable travel time for the bird are the highest priority.
LOCAL PICK UPS:
For the health and safety of our flock, we are a closed aviary and we do not allow in-person pick-ups. If you local to Palm Beach, we would be happy to meet you somewhere or in some cases deliver your bird to you. Please note that all sales in the state of Florida are subject to 6.5% sales tax for state and also Palm Beach County.
